Matt Stevens has served 18 years in the United States Air Force as a SERE Specialist, hybrid athlete in a multitude of different disciplines as well as a CrossFit gym owner. He has been actively involved in CrossFit since 2011 and has been in the OCR scene since 2013. While 2020 was sidelined with cancelled events and a worldwide pandemic, he was one of 12 elite athletes invited to compete in the first ever Spartan Games. This sparked his drive to create a non-profit geared with the motto "Developing Community Through Fitness" directing trail races, mountain bike races and outdoor events. Most recently, he was a top 20 finisher in the first ever GORUCK Games held in Jacksonville, FL in April, 2022.
