ROBERT KILLIAN

ROBERT KILLIAN

Defined by his iron will, 2x Spartan Race World Champion Robert Killian is an endurance freak. As a member of the Special Operations community with over 20 years of service, including combat experience and deployments to Iraq and North Africa, the 40-year-old has undergone some of the most rigorous military training there is. His OCR career took off in 2015 when he won the Spartan Race World Championship despite having just four races under his belt. During his time on the All-Army triathlon team, he won the military division of Kona’s IRONMAN World Championship in 2009, was named Army Athlete of the Year in 2010, and became the first-ever National Guard team to win the military’s most grueling 68-hour Best Ranger competition in 2016, making his subsequent move into the world of obstacle racing a no-brainer. Residing in Virginia with his wife, he is a devoted father and is inspired to race by his two children.
