Michael Eckert is a United States Marine, 4 time American Ninja Warrior and has broken multiple world records for Pull Ups.
His journey started when his dad built a Pull Up Bar in the backyard and competed against his older brother to see who could do more reps. Shortly after attending college for Exercise Science he found a passion for Rock Climbing which he has been doing for over 14 years. He joined the United States Marine Corps in 2013 and found a passion for coaching service members and civilians in physical fitness training. In 2012 he accidentally broke the World Record for Pull Ups when his friend bet him to see how many reps he could do. Later in 2015 he made the record official for Most Pull Ups in 60 seconds.
Michael Eckert is now a Staff Sergeant in the Marine Corps Reserves and a Full Time Online Fitness Instructor / Coach. After multiple injuries like a broken wrist, he continues to challenge himself and others in the world of calisthenics and obstacle course racing.
